Monitoring & Response for Royal Dutch Shell. Laurens is responsible for Security Monitoring, Incident Response, IT Forensics and E-Discovery. He has been with Shell for 15 years and has been working in information security for the last 20+ years in various roles. Prior to working for Shell he was with KPMG’s IT Audit and Advisory department in the Netherlands, where he worked as penetration tester, security consultant and IT audit manager for Fortune 500 clients. Laurens is a frequent speaker at international conferences on various topics related to Cybersecurity and enterprise GRC. He currently leads a global team of Cyber specialists and is member of Shell’s Cyberdefence leadership team.
